The general talk around the forums are that we will miss out on both Tahu and Monohan as they've both agreed to play for Moanly!

I have no idea whether the rumour is reliable or not however so that you don't get let down badly take it as being true, but funnier things have happened.

Just have to wait and see I think. I doubt they'd both go to Manly, but you never know. I read that if they signed Tahu then they'd drop out of the race for Monaghan.

Tahu....Morrison, we have been linked to others, such as Monaghan, but thats just paper talk.

If we dont get Tahu, its probably going to be the attraction of the northern beaches lifestyle being attractive to him and his girl (along with her relationship to kennedys wife), rather than a rejection of parramatta.

As for Morrison, we're certainly in there fighting with a chance.

I don't agree with you twizzle! however I do concede that us and Moanly are in a position where we need to pay over the odds for elite and or established first graders

there hasn't really been a great deal of movement in the player market since July 1, managers are telling their clients to hold out when players like Tahu, Monohan, Wiki, Morrison, Price and El Masri are tied up before they pounce at certain clubs!! a classic eg: McDougall, Whatuera, Franze, Hookey and Langi have not signed with anyone and are eagerly awaiting what Tahu and Monohan do!!

If Tahu goes to Moanly and Mono to Roosters!! then Parra will be in a position to choose between the players or centres mentioned!! personally I would rather Tahu than Whatuera but we may need to make do with Whatuera or Hookey to cover the spot that Lyon left wide open.

I think he's an enigma! the sort of player that can doesn't exactly revel in being part of a dud side but if he was playing in a St George or Roosters he would be a deadset genius.

Also whats the latest on young Joe Williams ??? I saw the Souths Broncos match and he was VERY good.
A good set up of tries and pace to burn.
Also is young Greg BIRD of the sharks on the market at the moment ??? also a very good player.

the latest on Williams is that Manly are obviously favorites to sign him but Canberra are now in the picture! Greg Bird could be going to Newcastle! but I wouldn't mind a swap deal with Dykse for Bird!

From what I saw on Sunday Joe WIlliams could be the next Matt Orford. Very good in attack. Showed a lot more than Michael witt EVER has.

We should ensure that whatever it costs that he is in Blue and Gold next year.

Id be happy if we dont sign another player and that includes Tahu if we sign WIlliams.

For a start they're well under the cap this year, so they have plenty of room to move for next year.

And what they are doing is sweetening the deals by giving sign on fees that are counting towards THIS years cap.
