Well that’s good news, I thought it was a season (Or life) ending injury!
1 of 2 players (72. Woods) of ours between 50-100 of top paid players.
88. Chad is on $550k
I suspect we we have many between 1-50
Fifita, Dugan, Johnson, Moylan, Graham
From sharks.com.au:
The Sharks are likely to be without premiership winning half back Chad Townsend for an extended period after scans revealed a grade two calf strain suffered in the closing moments of the win over the Dragons.
Townsend, who had played in excess of 100 games straight before missing the round four match against the Cowboys, is expected to be sidelined for around four to six weeks.
Anointed as the likely replacement by coach John Morris at his post-match press conference on Saturday night, local junior Connor Tracey is in line to come into the Sharks side as Townsend’s replacement.
Tracey has been playing the role of bench utility for the Sharks during the 2020 season but has come through the junior ranks primarily as a half back or five eighth.
Trindall hasn't played 1 game this year but I'd throw him and keep Tracey on the bench to replace either BB or BT. Best to throw him in now rather than later if we get another injury there.
Think talakai can handle centre again? I’d rather swap those two around for the game or play Wilton and Nikora together on that edge. Why wouldn’t you play Trindall and have Tracey on the bench?
If Trindall stinks it up, then Tracey comes on. If he doesn’t, then Tracey can still come on and cover Brailey
Duges will be back at left centre. Talakai at right centre. Nikora right back row.
Did me a grade 2 calf tear a couple months ago...f**king hurt. He’ll be at least 4 you’d think. High chance of a re-tearDon’t they call calf injuries “old man injuries” in sport?
