Is it funny to anyone else that for all these years fans have been calling for Sterlo to coach yet not one person has voted for him in this poll?

I don’t think anyone on here has called for Sterlo to coach us? Not in the last decade anyway.

I think any sustainable change needs to start around providing a strong and reliable defence. It gets mentioned by many Penrith players that Ciraldo is their man in this regard. Indeed its been stated he took their D back to their absolute basics then started from scratch. Penriths transformation in D has been incredible. So Cameron gets my vote.

Others Id consider as Assistant Attack coaches would be The Walker Brothers, Billy Slater, Cronk and one out of left field Benji Marshall. Defence coaches Id consider would be Boyd Cordner, Seibold or possibly Ryan Carr. How well any of these would work in combination is unknown. Maybe a coach recruitment committee could comprise of Bennett, Brian Smith etc.
Should positions become available tried and true might not be the way to go.

He most likely is sick of the travel and winding down. His financial situation would mean he can pick and chose what he enjoys.
However what a story it would be if he become a coach and won us 3 or 4 grand finals and went down as one of our greatest players and coaches.

It’s a nice thought but I agree that it’s highly unlikely.

I've heard him talk about players. I don't feel like he would be a good coach. His mind set seems stuck on 90s/early 2000 footy.
