Atlanta 6-0. Lakers 6-0. New Orleans 5-0 (first time in franchise history). Who do you think stays perfect the longest?

Hawks next 3 games are vs Phoenix, @ Orlando, vs Milwaukee
Lakers next 3 games are vs Portland, vs Minnesota, @ Denver
Hornets next 3 games are @ Milwaukee, vs Clippers, vs Portland

I can see LA go 8-0, although Portland is never easy. Can't stay I'm too confident about the Hawks going to Orlando.

Lakers or Hornets.

If Bogut plays...then Lakers...if he doesn't play then Hornets because I think maybe lakers lose to Denver.

Lakers typically struggle against Portland IMO.

I think it will be the Hornets. Which is amazing because it was hard to expect much from them at the start of the year.

Yeah especially at the Rose Garden iirc.

Hornets have been quite a surprise, and their start is even more impressive given that they've actually done it against good teams (Bucks, Nuggets, Spurs, Rockets, Heat).

Well the Hornets keep the streak going and move to 6-0 after a 87-81 win against the Bucks

1 Down 2 to go.

Phoenix and hawks both shoot the lights out.. 54% for the hawks and 55% for the suns.... Difference being the 3 point shooting.

I said last week how impressed I was with the Hornets after they beat some tough teams and I continue to be. Today was only against the Clippers but it was a 20 point thrashing with Okafor being the only starter playing more than 30 minutes (32).

And that's the super impressive thing - Paul is currently averaging his lowest mpg of his career (34 mpg) and David West is only averaging 31 mpg (averaged 37 mpg over the last 5 years). And after a bad first two games, Ariza seems to be settling in a lot more, hitting 10 of his last 22 threes, playing great defence and posting an above average assist rate for a SF (impressive as he shares the court with a great distributor in Paul). They're getting solid contributions from top to bottom.

After I've been ripping the Wolves, it would be funny if they could wreck LA's perfect start!

I want to see Nola in the finals against the Bulls.

Well what do you know, New Orleans is our last undefeated left. LA lose to Denver and drop to 8-1.

Although yes technically they are the last undefeated.... The still have only won 7, as opposed to Lakers 8.

Good point. They do have some tough games up ahead. Vs Portland than @ Dallas and then again vs Dallas.

Gotta LOL at you Lakers fans....."well they're technically undeafeted, but the Lakers have won more games".

I'm tipping the Hornets will beat the Mavs (Paul will be well up to dominate Kidd and they match up quite well overall) to improve to 10-0.

Good call. Paul has 20 (8-11 FG) at halftime. Hornets up 52-47

I made my prediction before knowing Dick Bavetta would be officiating. What is that mummy still doing calling games in 2010?
