I got chills when The Governor was measuring out the chains for Michonne just like he has her in the comics.
It was the first episode of the whole series I didn't hate Andrea. Although I get sick of the constant slaughter of zombies they feel they need to put in to appease the geniuss who complained about not enough zombies in season 2. The scene where the zombie grabbed her from behind the tree was pointless and the worst scene of the season. I'm liking the scenes with Tyreese and his gang, as well as with Milton.
I don't get how people think the Governor isn't psychotic enough. In his first episode he massacred a group of soldiers then killed a helicopter pilot, put his head in a tank to be with his whole group of heads in tanks that he watched like TV. That's supposed to be normal? I guess you can't be insane unless you savagely rape and torture a girl.
He's always been a nutcase.
Does anyone think Andrea is taking Micchone's place in the TV show eg the horrible stuff that the governer did to Micchone in the comics will fall on Andrea in the Tv Show ?
I reckon Milton will continue to put on his big boy pants and do something heroic in the next two shows. Tyreese will settle the guy whose wife suddenly decided she liked BBC's hash. Merle I reckon will go in some heroic redeeming sacrifice myself for the group/other person kind of way, Maggie and or Glen will go, Beth has had no character development at all so she is out, Ditto judith and Carol, Hershell will sacrifice himself for Micchone I reckon to make Rick wake the f**k up about the hostage swap thing.
Carl will die a virgin unless he cuts the teeth and arms off a hot zombie chick and just jackhammers away like the energiser bunny
And don't get into the 'how could she escape' thing. We had a discussion before about how zombies that are so slow and stupid managed to take over the world. It's not the point of the show. Andrea escaped pretty easy, I thought the bigger question was how did the zombie manage to hold her against the tree for so long. The scene was just pointless. The zombie slaughter scenes don't add anything to the show anymore.
And I think the Governor is cooler on the show. In the comics I found him one dimensional. Just an all out maniac.
I don't think there's anyway Michonne will be tortured. The preview showed Rick telling everyone and there's just not enough time left now. I don't know if Andrea will be tortured either.
I would like to think the show will run for two more seasons. I found the comics eventually started repeating itself. The current comic saga seems to be Governor all over again. And I don't think the characters live up to the ones that were killed off. I'd like one season on the road, with Tyreese and Morgan hopefully joining. And then the last in Alexandria.

Governor has style in TV. No doubt he's a nut-job. Still psycho but yes somewhat tamed down from his comic book counter-part. The way he walked down Main Street of Woodbury at the end of "Arrow on the doorpost" screamed style yet power. He's a man on a mission.
Honestly, I can see Andrea surviving.
Andrea and Rick to have a relationship together like in the comics?
I don't mind Andrea, Laurie Holden is a good actor to. She sells the twisted, confused role of Andrea so well.
