Great episode. Andrea is getting more interesting and starting to see the true colours of the governor to.

I wonder what will become of Merle. Will he survive? Also, Milton as well? Will Tyresse see what Woodbury is really like and go save Rick in the dying moments?

I've read mixed reviews of the latest episode, but I really enjoyed it. I like these more focused episodes. The series suffered earlier this season when they were jumping constantly between Woodbury and the prison. Much better this way.

I liked the tension in the Governor/Andrea scene in the old warehouse. Very cool. I also like the further development of the likes of Milton, Tyreese, and his attractive sister. I don't think I knew she was his sister until now.

Some people are hard to please. One of the best this season for mine. Funny to go from hating to having so much sympathy for Andrea so quickly. The flashback at the the start threw me off a bit.

Andrea then proceeds to have a whole bunch of opportunities to kill the Gov...

Then later...

Andrea: I'll just rest up against this tree for a second... Holy shit, all these zombies weren't right there in front of me when I blinked 1/50th of a second ago!

Ya gotta laugh at this show sometimes. After a few good episodes in a row we're back to the shit.

I have to agree with bileduct re: zombies. The ambushes for cheap thrills are just implausible. How can a character who has survived this long not hear zombies grumbling and lurching their way?

For that matter, why can't we hear them?

The mind boggles.

These guys can craft a compelling post apocalyptic zombie world with engaging characters, but resort to cheap scares far too often.

If it means that much to them, just go the 'fast zombies' route and you're set.

I definitely feel like they had to ramp things up with the Governor in this last episode. He's somehow transitioned from charismatic despot with a mean streak to full blown nutcase in the space of an episode - somehow remembering along the way that his 'daughter' was murdered and going all Jack Nicholson in The Shining.
