Gave up after last seasons cliffhanger. Seems was the right decision. Actually have the first half of this season recorded on my set top box , but know it'll be to much of a drag to sit through

I thought it was actually better than the first half of the season which was truly horrendous. Still pretty awful though.

I thought it was pretty good. The Hilltop "Leader" and Ezekiel's large right hand man were worth a chuckle.

It was also strangely enjoyable seeing Rick with a big smile on his face at the end.

It was an ok episode, even the "coathanger" zombie clear out was ok

But when Rick was surrounded by walkers with about 5 in biting range and none even look like taking a chomp....well that just reminded me yet again how f**kin dumb this show can truly be.

Whats his secret? Does he repulse them with Lynx Africa or something?

This.... and you know for certain that every person, and I mean EVERY PERSON, who has watched the show to this point was watching that scene thinking the exact same thing - "HOW COME HE DOESN'T GET BITTEN FFS????????"

Slightly better ep than last week but once again shit is moving very slowly... Each 16 episode season should be cut down in to an 8-10 episode season to get things moving quicker and stop testing viewer's patience

Bit quiet in here these days.

Enjoyed ep 11 with Eugene teaching his bunnies to play Atari. Ep 12 Rick and Michonne go to the carnival was pretty slow. Rick has gone so soft, as if you would just give all the Garbage Pail Kids your dozens of weapons.

When I was watching that scene of Michonne and Rick at the carnival, and Rick fell to the ground from the ferris wheel, then Michonne goes over to find the walkers chowing down on "something", you just knew it wasn't Rick.... so when he emerged from where he was, it was absolutely no surprise.... But it struck me - that was exactly what the show needed. A completely unexpected demise of Rick. That would have jolted the audience and brought the story back to life. But they went down the predictable route and things just keep moving along at their glacially slow pace...

I've finally stopped watching this shit and I want to know if its worth watching the second half of this season? Honest no BS appraisal?.. from what i'm reading in here its not looking very promising... could probably just watch the last episode and save myself the 5 hours of slow moving torture that would have otherwise preceded it... ha-ha

I still enjoy the show. It's a habit now and something my wife and I do every week.

I reckon people get a bit too overly critical at times about shows (e.g. The Simpsons) and movies.

Having said that, the CGI deer made the CGI junkyard look 4K.

I still enjoy it, don't understand why so many of you apparently hate it now still watch it. There's been heaps of shows I've stopped enjoying so don't waste my time with them anymore.

Fair call. The frustrating part is that it still has ability to thrill and produce good drama, but it's only for 2 or 3 minutes an episode... I keep watching thinking "righto, this is the week when all the ducks line up and shit's going to blow up"....

I guess one of the issues is that at this point it would be completely anticlimactic for any of the main cast to be killed by walkers.

Could you imagine Rick, Michonne, Carl, Maggie, Daryl, Carol dying because they got bit by a walker?

Realistic sure, after all nobody is as lucky as Rick, but after so much time it just would feel off, and because of that - how are the walkers a threat? It's a zombie show where the zombies are just scenery.

I definitely don't hate it. It just doesn't have the same feel/impact that it used to, and I think that's a large part of the reason why they're resorting to so many cheap suspense tricks and fake outs to try and compensate (Glenn dumpster, Rick getting swarmed on the highway and carnival etc)

Could you imagine a main character getting killed the way T-Dog, Dale, Tyreese etc did? TWD has always had uneven pacing from season 1 through to 7, but the unpredictable moments like that is what made it so compelling.

Still enjoy it, still entertaining, but I wouldn't put it in the compelling category because the level of threat isn't really there like it used to be.

Nah I am referring to the abundance of articles out there on the usual hipster shites about quitting the show.

Apparently seeing Glenn's eyeball fall out of it's socket was enough to make them suddenly realise and announce how crap the show has been for years.

This whole season has been an absolute shit fest of the highest order.

I mean for f**k sakes, I'm surprised the saviours didnt ask for BJ's after taking away their guns.

And given you're gonna need as many helping hands as you can get, killing one of your own sounds incredibly stupid - Morgan?

It's just such a contrived show. There is bugger all that makes sense, especially most of the characters motivations

I really can't keep watching much longer. Thank christ I don't pay a cent to do so
