Cant beleive Ive read headlines saying it was the upset of 2006. The Warriors would be in the top 8, possibly top 4 if they didnt have the points docked at the start of the year. Calling it the upset of 2006 doesnt pay the Warriors enough respect.....something I think the boys were guilty of tonight as well.

BTW, what about the call that the ball wasnt played at prior to the winning try...!!??

Deserved victory to the Warriors.....be plenty that are glad they are not in the 8.

The headline on this site was written by me. Personally, while i think the Warriors are better than they are hyped up (or down) as, beating a rampant Storm in Melbourne at night lacking a few first choice players is certainly an upset. Maybe not the upset of 2006, but hyperbole always gets a few more views. Just at the moment i can't think of too many upsets on the same scale this year.

I agree with your bolded point there. We got away with that one there, in my opinion. But we deserved it after that average video ref call on the Webb No Try. On a side note, we are really going to miss Brent Webb.

Minor premiers on a 11 odd game win streak havent lost at home in about 17 games losing to a team that was 13th IS the upset of the season

Well all i can say is that it won't be you owning us in the GF because you won't even make the finals let alone the big one. Even if you did happen to pull off a miracle and beat us this week, that still wouldn't change the fact that the Warriors are sh*t

Now run along and go play with your sheep and come back and mouth off when you follow a decent side.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our team looked pretty decent last night don't ya think?

HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

.................

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Not a Warriors fan, but a proud kiwi just the same. Well done Warriors! What a fantastic game of football.

As for all you Australians that think sheep jokes are funny - don't forget that all those sheep we shag are exported to australia and end up on your table as a sunday roast.

Two things are guaranteed.

A big crowd and a Storm victory.

Nehhhh

Wrong answer.

Man I love rubbing it in.

But in all seriousnss it was a good game. I can't help but think how hard the ref and ourselves made it for us.

Eg Disallowing the Webb try, disallowing the 2nd Vautvei try, Vautvei failing to take the ball off the kick off twice which lead to two tries.

See you in the finals Warriors.......

Oh, wait.... you won't be there.

Thank your lucky stars that we won't because you and everyone other team there would have problems playing us.
Oh jealously is a great thing.
Face it, you lost and you lost in a game you should have won. I don't know what the Storm were thinking but they panicked too often trying too hard! haha.
GO THE WARRIORS!

I think we're entitled to enjoy ourselves consdering how many people have been writing us off since round 1. Truth was the Storm didn't play well and anyone could see that. Why else was Bellamy going nuts in the coaching box? Go figure.

bellamy was going nuts because of how the team played...afterwards he said he wouldnt mind losing if they played their best, but they obviously didnt do that.

Congrats to the warriors tho...as i said earlier in this thread you guys are in great form and i wouldnt be surprised if we got beat.

too bad you wont be in the finals because it would have been great getting a chance to meet yous again.

I wouldn't want to be within 20 miles of the Storm in the finals.

They wouldn't slip up against us twice.

Credit where it's due. The Warriors were good and i we were pretty average. If we had've won it wouldn't have been the better team getting the 2 points.

At the warm up before the game they didn't look sharp. The Warriors had much more to play for than Melbourne and still it was 4 tries apiece. Be a different story against Orford's Manly, with the J.J Giltenan shield being presented and all. Warren Ryan on ABC radio on Sunday stated that Melbourne won't lose another game this year.

Good hitout Warriors, thanks for the tough game. Very entertaining as well. Even though that was a knock on just before your last try. Manu Vatuvai will be having nightmares about Cameron Smith's kick offs for quite a while yet. Pricey was giving it to him in the in-goal area, as we were too.

Oh, you're a quick one. Btw, don't forget the 2 denied Warriors' tries.
