1. What is the next innovation in how rugby league is played and how is he positioning the Sharks to take advantage?
2. The Sharks have been the lowest scoring club in the NRL over the past decade. What strategies are in place to ensure the team is going to score more points this season?

Whats the deal with not picking Barba at fullback because Bird is having a hissy fit and the coach is trying to keep him at the club by appeasing his every whimpering desire?

Ask him what is the ritual that the team goes through, to make sure the right amount of fear is instilled, before every game we run out against Manly.

Please ask him why Paul Gallen wasn't given a go at fullback considering it's the most popular position at the moment.

It’s a show about all things Sharks.

Offering a mix of news, interviews, strong opinions and fan interaction, SharkCastTV is about to become the ideal introduction to the weekend of rugby league for all avid Sharks fans.

Born out of the SharkCastPod, a one-hour independent radio podcast presented in 2015 by Sharks tragics Sam Shinazzi and Adam Newman, the 30-minute SharkCastTV show has been brought into the Sharks ‘family’ in 2016.

To air on Channel 67, the official fan engagement channel on the Sharks website, at 7.00pm on Thursday nights, SharkCastTV will look to inform and entertain viewers leading into each and every weekend of the 2016 NRL season.

To be hosted by Sam and Newman, the dynamic duo to be joined by Sharks Media Manager Rob Willis as the ‘voice of reason’ providing a unique insider’s view. SharkCastTV will include team discussion and interviews, interspersed with strong opinions from the two avid Sharks fans, with Willis saddled with the responsibility of keeping the pair in check.

“The boys have strong opinions, especially Newman with Sam somewhat more measured, but they do always speak with the Sharks and the club at heart,” Willis said. “My job in joining their panel will be something of a facilitator, giving the official club point of view, while letting the boys have their say.

“We are all looking forward to it and it should be fun for us, which hopefully translates into an enjoyable half an hour for Sharks fans tuning in.”

While discussions were well advanced in having SharkCastTV included as a part of Channel 67 Sharks website content for the upcoming season, the success of the Sharks v Manly trial match livestream call with Newman, Sam and Willis, intensified talks for the weekly SharkCastTV show to be given the official go-ahead.

The trial match livestream attracted over 30,000 viewers from not only Australia, but from around the world, including the US, UK, throughout Asia, in 38 countries in all and in places not known for following either the Sharks or the NRL such as Norway, Kenya and in Macedonia.

“The aim of SharkCastTV is to increase Sharks fan engagement to wherever Sharks fans are around the world” said Willis.

The Sharks were rated #1 NRL Game Day atmosphere last year, #1 for their 2015 Membership program, with SharkCastTV looking to also take fan engagement to new levels in 2016.

SharkCastTV will be available via Telstra’s Ooyala livestream technology and will also be available on demand for viewing at a later date.

Can you ask why Paul Gallen ins't playing Prop? He always said he'd likely move up at the end of his career. Well this is potentially his last year.

Also, I understand "he plays like a prop anyway" however the team has a much better balance with him in the 10.

Congrats on the show.

So yeah the shark tv show pod cast (fix the name), I do appreciate it, but, its a less free flowing audio cast but with lots of "breaks" advertisements. To be honest I listened but did not watch, I was doing busy others other shit at the same time.

Thanks for watching (or attempting to watch). Yesterday's upload was not without incident and there are still issues with the stream (ie android incompatible). We are working on uploading another file later today which should be viewable on every device.

This is a steep learning curve for all involved, we will get there.
