Ha, was thinking the same thing. I'm exactly the same age and went through pretty much the same journey (including Economics degree at Wollongong), stand similar place on the hill, but don't think I've met the dude...weird.

Only difference was I was convinced we were going to win and never thought we would in previous years. I bought GF tickets the day they went on sale in June and had never bought them previous.

And he's so right...very few fans know what winning the comp was like for us. Souffs fans would after their massive gap and dire years. But Storm / Broncos? Pfft. Gives me a lift to know they have never experienced the joy.
