Why? Everyone knows he’s down on form...which they talk about...and everyone knows he was preferred at fullback but hasn’t kicked on as hoped.

What’s val meant to be on $700k? What’s the best winger meant to be on? $550k? So he’s getting about $150k more than ideal. They took a punt and it hasn’t paid off yet. That’s what happens, you win some, you lose some.

Exactly.....at the moment we're miles behind on Seggy.....whatever we paid for him. On the other hand we jagged a bargain with Hodko....only paying 100k of his freight. As you said ....win some lose some.

I don’t subscribe to the theory of not paying big money to a winger but I do subscribe to the theory of paying big money to match-winners, no matter what position.

That is his best attribute when on fire but it’s no secret that he couldn’t light a candle at the moment.
