Things That Happen EVERY Year

A post about Owen Craigie got me thinking....what happens every year in the great game of Rugby League,

Lets make a list:

John Hopoate shrugs off his bad boy image.

Owen Craigie losses alot of weight and looks in good condition. He wants to revive his career.

Phil Gould threatens to quit/rejoin Origin scene as NSW coach.

Brisbane complain about unfair treatment by the NRL.

Bulldogs fans riot.

St George/Illawarra Dragons look like world beaters one week, then play terrible the next.

Any others.... :)

* Whenever someone changes clubs, they always describe their new team mates as a "good bunch of blokes".

* The coach of a team that has no depth will always say, "We've got some good, young kids coming through."

* Every year the NRL says it has plans to revive "bush football". But every year the only thing they have is the road train.

Half the Dragons players watch most games from the sidelines earning their over inflated worth boosting crowd attendances.

Brian Smith is painted a villian for letting talent go and replacing it with lesser talent or complete wastes of time like Owen Craigie

Mind you 1 bad apple from half a dozen isn't too bad for a change.

Phil Gould argues that the cap should go so 'the Roosters can keep everyone they want plus sign some others that want to play at a good club'
