Things to do while in Vegas 2025.

For those silly enough like me to spend thousands on airfares and accommodation to watch the Mighties play in a desert in Round 1, I thought I'd start a list of things highly recommended to do in Vegas while you are there that others might not know about.

My No 1 choice is
The Pinball World Hall Of Fame.
300 old and new style pinball machines and old school cabinet arcade games from the 1960's to 2020's. Yes some are broken but it's a great place to spend 2 hours.
Near the airport up from The Strip.

I've heard a whisper that if you look hard enough you can find a roulette table

If you have some time grab a car and head out to Zion for a couple of nights.

If more time then travel further out to Bryce and maybe even Antelope canyon.

My fave things when I went last year:

1. Grand Canyon by Comedy on Deck. I was travelling solo for a bit of the trip so couldn’t spring for a helicopter tour out and back. Long day but kind of cool watching the desert landscapes. Kind of a must see place. Your guide was fun and met some good people.

2. Spend a day gambling at every single strip casino. Start at the top end at 8am. Gamble at every single casino with some mates until about midnight. Drink at as many as you can. Buy a dumb oversized overpriced tourist alcohol slushie.

3. see a hockey game. Was brilliant production. Laughable how bad Aussie sports at in comparison . It’s f**king freezing inside. Long pants and a massive hoodie required.

4. See a comedy show or concert. Some acts rarely come here. Someone might be performing you want to see. Grab a single seat as often selling for cheap in good location.

5. Wander. Just f**king explore. Get lost travelling between the resorts. Use the tram around the aria/park mgm/bellagio way for easy transport.

Helicopter into Grand Canyon is awesome. Though don’t recommend when hung over.
