I have Mod powers in the NFL forum, although not actually listed as a Mod. I would be happy to create and manage a subforum, would want to run it by Cupid first though.

I suggested to Coby a few years ago that we create a fantasy subforum but he said the traffic didn't warrant it, i think it's necessary now.

You don't need to run stuff by ME, you have powers because you earnt them by not being a twat. Go crazy ab! As per the OP, I & try to simply act as a door bitch. The people here are pretty much self regulating in the right way so 99.9% of garbage gets sorted without a need to show a badge. So far we've been able to keep it to just the odd douche & chinese jersey sellers. If I was going to flex my powers I'd simply delete every Dallas post I could find... :lol:

I'm starting to think now that maybe one thread per game is too much, but it would be still nice to have a subsection for Fantasy Football don't ya'll think?

While I agree, & I do agree!, these types of threads ALWAYS degenerate in to straight up porn... Plus it brings in the less cultured perverts to this side of the forum. ;-)

Nah, they die off somewhat once it's a few weeks in. Plus it's for in-house comps so I would rather the locals have a place to work stuff out AND talk football as opposed to going elsewhere & maybe losing them altogether. Besides, it adds about 3 seconds to my thread scanning time, & if I don't want to see it I just don't open the thread. Seems to work well enough for me at least.

Yeh we talk football in the fantasy threads.

It seems the arguments here for and against a new sub section are neither here nor there so maybe keep everything as is. But we should have an agreement on how the game/day threads will be set up.

We want it to be easy for new people to join in discussion (while of course keeping out the twats). I guess a simple approach is best for that.

already rewatched the eagles @giants and then eagles @redskins last night, that first quarter by the eagles was absolutely amazing. By the 2nd play of the 2nd quarter vick was 8/8 completions, 3 passing TDs, a running TD, 30 odd yards on the ground and 250 through the air. Absurd numbers

After reading R69's run down on an NFL Pass I think I am signing up.

For whatever reason I had it in my head that the thing would be priced like poison and not all that great. Methinks I forgot about the resources at the NFL's disposal.

Just been watching Philly v Baltimore and the HD res is awesome on my laptop. Baltimore kicked a FG BTW. 3-0 to the Ravens. ;-)

The fact you can drag and drop multiple games into the one view is an awesome feature.

Definitely money well spent.
