was voted a better guitarist then this:

Rolling stones, god love em. Let me guess, Eddie didn't have feeling so the Ramones guy was a better guitarist:lol: even though he admitted he couldn't play lead:lol: and limited his guitar to just some basic chords which any 10 year old could do.....but he had 'feeling' so he was a much better guitarist lol

I think even the most loyal Ramones fans would admit they were sh*t, but they had some funky tunes, much like KC and the Sunshine band, even though they atleast had some talent.

No coincidence that the Ramones never had a Platinum record. Lets put it into perspective, even the most god aweful groups eg back street boys etc could all manage this.

The most overrated band of all time? absolutely, nothing comes close. A pathetic band of sh*thouse musicians who didn't deserve to even piss next to the likes of Steve Vai, Eddie V, Led Zepplin etc

One of my turds which resemble something from Pro art have more ability then the Ramones, actually those annoying kids down the street, they have more talent, everyone does, that's what makes punk so great!! you can be absolutely farked at playing instruments and still make the big time!

Just remember, when you think of the Ramones think of all the sh*thouse groups you hear today and think 'f**k, music today sounds like sh*t', actually dont tell me, i know, i just have to look at record sales and concert attendences to realise this:)

Incidentally - is that a rock'n'roll guitarrist list?

Because if it isn't, what about guys like John Lee Hooker and Ry Cooder? Absolute freaks.

Freaks in there day yes, but modern guitar is far more advanced then what is was back then, it's like compairing A Johns with Bob Fulton

Well, personally, I'd rather listen to Ry Cooder or John Lee Hooker and their simple music over Carlos Santana...How he made Rolling Stone Magazine's Top 100 Guitarrists Of All Time is beyond me - all his songs sound the same.

Black Magic Woman is a good song, but if Santana makes it then Satriani has to as well with always with me always with you, similar in ways, distinctive openings, but after that Satriani soughts the men out from the boys;)
