They are predicting this rain to keep up for months

If so peeps it is going to be a long f**king year

When was the last game we won in the rain ... dogs last yr drizzled ever so light at the end

I can remember tons of sh*t performances in the wet ... manly in 04 at brookvale and manly last year at Leichhardt come to mind

Yeah that'd be about it i think and even then it was a struggle til 10 late tries
The draw has been kind the first 6 weeks with 4 day games and the 2 night games - one is in townsville so that counts as a day game as it will be dry and warm-ish and the penrith game is a mon night and the sun would have just set by a 7pm ko so shouldn't be too bad

Rain will kill us however

The rain used to kill us because we had next to no genuine tackle busters/line breakers in the side. We now have a bigger side which is potentially chock full of tackle busters/line breakers, the rain won`t worry us this season should it happen.

True Vish.

Apparently Cherry has the boys actually lifting weights and eating big this year. Getting steamrolled is hopefully a thing of the past

Its all about field postion in the wet, and with a crap kicking game we will get belted. Lets hope our man Head gets better real quick

Or maybe coach shines and sizzler have come up with a cunning plan to bamboozle the opposition ... morris grubbers on the 3rd tackle when we reach the 1/2 way line ... they are visionaries

 If it's going to rain alot then they should use sprinkers at training instead of the flying fox so they get used to playing in the wet

And the Tigers are known for jumping to the top of the ladder very early on in the season, before firming to top 6 favourites before bowing out of the race with 2 weeks to go before the finals.

I reckon we'll get through the rainy period just fine.

We have a pretty easy run the first 6 weeks:
The saints aren't a patch on what they were - think they'll finish 11th ish
Cowboys are sh*t without thurston - no 2 ways about it
Dogs are in turmoil - no backs the last 3 yrs and now no forwards
Canberra are garbage and early april won't be too cold
Penrith lack quality
Soufs = asotasi and 16 spastics

I think penriff and manly will have us well covered for bad crowds
As will easts
And canterbury who will come near last
We should open ok which will help crowds

CS can't get a crowd on a sunny sunday to be fair

Wonder if noyce consulted rudd on welfare weeks so we'd be a hope of getting more that 14,000 to the f**king sh*thole

What are these 'welfare weeks' you so often speak of Mulli?

Are you saying that the dole only gets paid on certain weeks?

Aren't commonwealth payments fortnightly ?
This all came about because the wests lot refuse to believe that the scheduling of govt payments are a factor in the scheduling of WT games at CS
That is from a WT board member's mouth

I was also asked elsewhere on the interweb to `divulge source or get banned'

As I said this person was a WT board member and is still involved at one half of the JV partners and is one smart cookie
