I think what he was saying was Robertson stripped the ball from Gasnier (so it was not a knock on when it left his hand) then Gasnier grounded the loose ball.

I thought the decision was a joke, but that was the only possible outcome I can think of, unless Bill had a lazy 20 on the Dragons.

Those separation benefit of the doubt tries have been getting worse and worse until that one tonight, video refs are supposed to be there mainly for the put-down but they can't even get that right. And we talk about refs making terrible decisions when they have to make them in split-second, under pressure situations. Video refs look at footage for minutes and still get it wrong.
