Just be playing around with the finals calculators and it is still technically possible for the cut off point to be 31 pts, now it will take another draw to occur but as has been seen this year anything can happen meaning to be 110% safe 32 pts are needed which means at least 2 more wins.

With tough games coming up against the Broncos, Dogs and Dragons this game v Warriors is vital to win.

True, we should beat Canberra but there is still another win needed somewhere and if it's not against the Warriors then it will have to be in one of those very tough games.

Also for Parra to drop out other teams will need to win games they are not really expected to win

For example the Sharks have to not lose again this year which based on current form is almost impossible likewise Manly.

But I'd prefer to not to even need to think about the other teams for once, unlike previous years when the club has sent letters to the Dragons begging them to beat Brisbane.

Knowing the way we play, we will lose to the Warriors and then beat the Bulldogs and Dragons, then we will lose to Canberra and then beat the Bronco's.......just so they can keep us guessing!!

we should not be afraid of playing dogs, drags, broncs etc... if we are not on their level then who even cares if we make the 8 if we cant win the comp...

whoever thinks we cant win, must have rocks in their heads, how can we win the premiership if we cant win with 3 from our next 5 being at hme. Remember people we are running second, and have lost the last 2 games and still in second position, their is a reason, and that is we have played well to win, we cant expect to win every game, and i prefer we lose now than come september.

I'm not panicking and I'm tipping 4 wins in the final 5 games (think we'll drop either the game v Bulldogs or game v Broncos).

but, just pointing out that it is far from a certain thing.

Wouldnt surprise me if we face a weakened bronocs side for that match.

Yeah mate, I know, mathematically we could miss the finals, but last year and the year before there were times where we could mathematically make the finals. You can tweak the numbers however you want, but at the end of the day you just have to go with what you feel, and I KNOW there is no way we are missing the finals... mark my words, come October we will look back and laugh at the mere suggestion!

As Parra Pete says, let's just enjoy the ride. We're about to play in the finals for the first time in years, and before that we have some cracker games away and at home. We will perform very well, and love every second of it.

The Raiders did lap us

Only poor handling stopped by my count at least 4 more tries being scored

admitingly Parra had the same handling problems but in the 2nd half the Raiders tore Parra to shreads.
