The chase is lousy because the kicks are lousy.

Hmmmmmm I was actually thinking something similar.

What swayed me from saying it is that a good chase should be a line and Millers observation about them being buggered would put paid to any cohesive line.

Maybe a combination of both things?

what, good at being fitter ? no, they were buggered too.

Problem with using tiredness as an excuse though mate, cause it WAS a fast game and they had every right to be tired...But....

Support and kick chase has been bad all year, kick chase particulary. The time Hunt got out of the in goal was a great example, it was a lazu chase from vagana as soon as the kick left the boot.

Interestingly these things go hand in hand with the bad support play. Our lack of dummy half is where the kick chase begins falling down, and its gone from there..

Perhaps qualfiy that, its the lack of dummy-half once Hilder goes off.

I'd have him on for the full 80 if he's up to it.

Especially now that there is no Bird.

Sully could go to PL and that would create a space on the bench.

And also just of note, this 'finishing' ability you talk of is not really anything special, its just being in the right place at the right time, !

Dont you love it when people who nothing of what they are talking about shoot their mouth off.

beautiful.

given his injuries and loss of speed in recent years it's obvious peach isn't in the team for backing up breaks and unfortunately it's naive to expect this of him. more like he's there to create opportunities for others to convert.

generally speaking, this is quite the opposite rolew to that of simmo, . if simmo (or anybody for that matter) has pace but lacks innate rugby league vision / understanding, which simmo patently still does, then it's the role of the coach and other senior players to train and direct him to be where he needs to be. otherwise how will the team get the greatest possible benefit form the abilities he does possess, and how will he learn ?

You're spot on there millers and most of the time the chaser was Peachey. What has bought about the change in this for the 2nd half of the season? I don't know.

Simmons = Solid First Grader

This argument is so old, its gone on in countless threads over a long period, give the youngster a break. Geez I would have hated to be a Doggies fan, some of you people would have bagged out Sonny-Bill in his early days your that petty

sonny bill compared to simmons .....lol

in his 1st game sonny bill tore parra 62 new ass holes ....and went from strength to strength ....infact he demoralized then test centre, jamie lyon, so badly that he left the nrl straight after

simmons has taken two seasons just to resemble a 1st grader WINGER ...a f**king winger .....u know....the fairies that catch and run......

you're a laughing stock

How many of Simmon's 9 tries have come from outside 10 metres? How many from outside 20 metres even?

For a bloke so fast he sure has to get close to the line to trip over it.

Surely
