Interesting commments from this morning's Daily Telegraph. Despite an improvement of late I do have to agree as TL has not threatened any defensive lines to date.

Thomas Leuluai is not an NRL half. He is an outstanding dummy-half, but not capable of threatening a quality defence at first or second receiver.
Poor pass selection, erratic form and a propensity to defensively collapse when fatigued are also weighing them down.

Leuluai's improving game by game. I do agree with the opinion that he'd be much better as a hooker, but i do think he's improving as an NRL half.

Also, last season taught me that Matty Johns tries to make his opinions as sensationalist as possible. tbh, he reminds me a bit of Chris Rattue. Loud, but more often loud like a fart than loud like a siren.

I'm not convinced with TL at 6, as much as I rate the fella as a 9 or 14 is he better than Friend, or does he offer more than Godinet? I dont think so.

From what I understand, the point is fairly moot as Godinet doesn't want to be at the Warriors next year anyhow. I'd back Leuluai as a superior rake at bringing the forwards onto the ball, and certainly a better defender.

Leulaui is a distant second at best.
