Carl Webb.....Before he had those implactions with bennett he was a great player...big bloke very fit and fast for a foward....
Would be a great buy if morrison fails to come!

Don't see him as an alternative to Morrison but a good player to gamble on nonetheless. Fitness is a problem but Smithy has a good record with those sort of guys.

Webb is a class player - he is sorely out of favour at the Broncos at the moment. I think they are freezing him out so to speak. He is in and out of first grade. With the right kick in the rear he could go well. A former Origin player as a project for Smith would be a damn sight better than some that he has chosen wouldn't it?

Good point actually. I'd hate to see both Webb and Riddell both battling away in premier league because they need to reach Smithy's weights requirements.
