I could not say a vehement enough no to this suggestion....the guy is an injury prone, unfit, lazy, over the hill, grubby hack

Wow! Dont hold back Bro. Tell us what you REALLY think. (actually, I tend to agree somewhat):D

Meh - as the thread starter said - at a minimum wage some clubs could do alot worse.

No thread is entirely pointless!

Its actually quite amusing that kidwell even got a thread. like WTF are you thinking?

i created the thread for kidwell because

1. we gave the bloke a start. he has done well for himself since he left.
2. his situation is not too disimilar to smoking joe who ironically is reportedly leaving to the disappointment of many - who were probably similarly dismissive when he joined
3. as jess-eels said, there's not many experienced players left you can land with a minimum contract.

I vote no. at most your going to get 1 year out of him. not worth it. get a younger player.

maybe josh lewis (piegers) is one of the halfs we are looking at.

personally i think the club should be looking at lewis brown (warriors) to boost our forwards, and possibly richie fa'aso (knights) or matt scott (cows) if we can get either at a good price with a shadey property deal to sweeten the contract.

nigel plum could also be a good buy once he clears up that matter with the candlestick in the conservatory.
