Not a big deal just grubby by Maloney who again threw a players shoe into stands.. what can you do though? Found it funny first time but if he keeps doing it maybe refs should have a word to him?

Maybe players should stop wearing slippers onto the field?

.... or in Ferguson's case learn to tie his shoe laces?

Maloney nearly hit me in the head with that boot throw against canberra.

I reckon it's a straight out penalty.

Ive missed this. So whats happening ? Opposition player boots falls off, Maloney picks it up and throws it off the field ? Thats pretty low IMO.

Yeah I saw him do it a few weeks ago but luckily the crowd chucked the boot straight back.
Someone putting one on his chin should stop it

Sin bin! Hey, he's impeding a players ability to perform or sending the player running into the stands to get them. f**k me that should be a professional foul. Scum.

It's effectively making it 13 v 12 if the player can't get his boot back from the crowd. It'd be like slashing someones tyres in a race.

"Not a big deal but" I'll start a thread about it.

He could be the NRL's OWH&S officer. Removing an abvious safety hazard from the field, he should be congratulated. Well done Jimmy.

What if your team were to lose a game because a winger without a boot slips over trying to chase a grubber dead and opposition score?

FMD not the brightest are you.

A few points to consider.

I can't imagine many circumstances where we would be in a position to win a game.
The boot would be off the field, so unless it's the 2010 GF or the QLD intrust cup game that was played on the weekend your scenario is irrelevant.

When someone starts using what ifs you know they have SFA to offer.

On a side note, it may be an idea not to take my original post seriously. Just a heads up.

i remember he threw hayne's boot towards the sideline when he was with the warriors.

but i thought that might have been a one-off. its one of those niggling things we'd probably not rather become common place. i'd be happy for him to be penalized if the refs see it. is he going to stomp on players mouth guards if they come out?
