The first Thuga's Thoughts of 2005, and lets start of with the Raw side of things.
RAW
The Elimination Chamber match is taking shape now, and with the special ingredient added in now and that is the Heartbreak Kid, Shawn Michaels will be the special Referee. Now here are a few Options in what could happen in this match:
1) HHH and Edge are the final 2 in the ring, HBK is knocked out in some stage of the match. Edge has control, he sets up for the spear, but when HBK gets to his feet he is in the way of Edge hitting the spear. Edge complains about HBK being in the way and HHH hits the Pedigree and Shawn Michaels reluctantly counts the pinfall. This will set up a HBK vs Edge match at Wrestlemania, and HHH can go on with a Batista and Orton feud.
2) HHH and Orton and Batista left. Batista and HHH are working on Orton and chucking him through glass etc. At one stage Batista and HHH are arguing on who gets to pin him, then Orton rises to his feet and Batista gets hit with a RKO. Then HHH starts to take out Orton, before Orton hits the RKO on HHH and HHH lands right on Batista and the pinfall is counted down on Batista. When Batista finds out what happens he is furious etc, and that could lead to a face turn either at the PPV, or on RAW a few weeks later.
3) Down between Orton and HHH. Both men trade blows back and fourth, HHH hits the pedigree, Orton kicks out!. Orton hits the RKO, HHH kicks out! Then Randy goes for the RKO again, HHH pushes him away straight into the Sweet Chin Music from none other then Shawn Michaels. Fans start to boo and after HHH wins, they start to do the Suck it Sign to form Degeneration X.
Either one of those options would be great, and im looking forward to how it turns out. Unfortunately, it looks like Jericho and Benoit have no chance of winning the match. but that doesn't mean that they cant do some high risk maneuvers in the chamber.
Another match at New Years Revolution is Kane vs Gene Snitsky. Kane will probably win the match, but the question I have is how will they continue this feud? An Idea is for Gene Snitsky to set Kane on Fire or something, and then have Kane return a few weeks later with his mask on and the crowd will go nuts. That will lead to a Wrestlemania match or something that will consist these two wrestlers.
Maven vs Shelton Benjamin for the I.C title potentially could be a great match, and I can see the match going either way. However, my guess is that we will see Maven come out on top and continue his heel push.
Mohammad Hussan & Khosrow Daivari are really starting to grow on me. They already have become very successful by having the fans boo the living life of them. At NYR, im hoping that Mohammad Hussan really squashes the king. That will really push him as the Big Arab who squashes anyone who comes in his way.
Lets move over to Smackdown
Carlito is starting a petition to get rid of Theodore Long as G.M of Smackdown. Smart Idea, as it gives Carlito T.V time and gives him a story line while he is injured. Im not sure how this will end up, but my guess is that Carlito will be put in a match when he is free to wrestle, and if he wins..Theodore Long has to leave, but if whoever Theodore long chooses to wrestle wins, He gets to stay and Carlito is fired or something fo the sort. Anyway, its an interesting storyline that is brewing there.
The WWE Title match at Royal Rumble will be JBL vs Kurt Angle vs The Big Show. Im thinking that Luther Reigns and Mark Jindrak may join JBL's little stable. They have been talking to Kurt saying that the Bashams are getting double the pay that Kurt Angle is paying them etc. So that is a option for the WWE to explore. Anyway, JBL will win this match and im not sure what will happen from there.
I think its a sure thing that a Smackdown superstar will yet again win the Royal Rumble, and the only real option is for the Doctor of Thuganomics to win the Rumble and go on to face JBL at Mania.
Undertaker looks to continue his feud with Heidenreich, and as I guessed it will be a casket match at the Rumble. Havn't seen one of these in a while, so it will be great to see. Lets just hope the two can put on a decent match.
Random Notes
* Strong Rumors are saying that Stone Cold, The Rock, Mick Foley and Hulk Hogan will make appearances at Wrestlemania 21.
*Members - Please note that Gene Krupa is no longer a Moderator in the Wrestling Forum. Gene was a great Mod and it was sad to see him leave the Mod team. However Gene will still be a regular poster and thats all we ask of him.
* There are several members who havent posted up the Predictions in the PPV comp yet. You only Have till Monday Morning peeps so get them in.
* Big Thanks to R_69 for organizing the whole LUF. He must have a lot to do with school etc, but still finds time to do it. Thanks a lot
