It's certainly a big impovement, especially the free kids. I still think they should go a step further and ditch the categoried seating when the demand is obviously not there.

It's almost aggressively anti-fans. And for what? They make pocket change from it compared to the TV deal and sponsorships.

I'd open a couple of the sections and promote these as the deal areas on a first come first served. Might generate some pre game purchases and reduce the weather effect? As I said you need to be careful though that you don't make the members feel they have been duded.

Actually becomes great value now. A family of 4 can go watch a game of footy and have a feed for around $80...

Can't go the movies or the zoo for that sort of money. Not including a meal anyway.

For a family of 4 to do the same thing last year would have cost closer to $130.

I think the stadium will be shocked at how much extra food they'll sell as well now that its cheaper. I for one will be less inclined to eat takeaway out the front of the stadium before going in, now that you can eat something at your seat for less than $20.

There's still plenty of excuses, just that cost is no longer one of them! If you cant be arsed to go to something you can always find an excuse.

I have sent the nrl more than a dozen emails over the last 10 years or so regarding ticket prices, food costs and filling up the lower bowl of seats first at ANZ stadium..

They finally listened to me and everyone on the crowd watch forum they finally listened to us!

It took 10 years but they did what we all wanted. . Thanks to the 4 clubs and nrl for making this happen better late than never.

It’s going to be interesting to see what crowds turn up now. 20k average now I reckon at ANZ.
