The days when at the SCG in the 70's when you took your own carton of beer,bought at the Olympic Hotel on Moore Pk Road,and an esky chock full of food to eat through the whole three grade matches.

Usually ran out of beer just after the reserve grade match...thank god for the bar being open during the entire main game.

I buy student GA tickets from Ticketek. No one has ever checked for a card. Attendants are more worried about bags etc.

Saved a fortune over the years.

i dont know if this is a thing, as ive never been to a finals match, but i just bought a ticket to the broncos v cowboys, got one of the worse seats in the house- the only cheaper seat was up the corner behind the goal posts- and it was $53... right up the back on the 10m line. Sideline anywhere is $80...
is it just qld that gets screwed or is this because of finals??

Wtf? Tickets are cheaper than regular season for me. Loving it. Wish every round was finals pricing.
