Where did this rumour of a sellout come from? No way it'll be anything close to a sellout... we're playing the Roosters remember....

I rang ticketek to get 4 tickets (3 children & I) around 4.30pm today, the girl said there were no tickets available for 4 on the eastern or western terrace, no tickets for Cronin and Thornett stands. Only tickets available were in the deep corners (don't enjoy sitting there) and some locations around Northern & Southern Terrace, which I've never enjoyed either. I usually sit in the eastern Terrace between Bays 63 & 64 & occasionally bay 62. I love sitting with the sun on the face during those great Sunday arvos when they come around.

With the increase of season ticketholders, you have to expect that it's going to be difficult to buy 4 tickets in a row in reserved seating the week leading up to a game. That's not to suggest it's a sellout, there'd probably be plenty of single and double tickets in the terraces you've mentioned. But a lot of the seats in those areas would have been allocated before the season even started.

Whoever you spoke is full of rubbish though if they told you there were "some locations" available in the Northern and Southern terraces, because those are general admission areas and first come first serve on game day where you sit wherever you like... Who did you speak to exactly?

A girl who was there to take a booking over the phone - rang the 132849 number - Have not been in the Southern or Northern area since the early 90's. Just don't like it. Had some bad experiences with idiots, drunks, Parra Jesus, etc....:lol:

Haha yeah I hate the Northern terrace simply because the poster boards block the big screen and youhave to rely on the crowds reaction down the other end to find out whether a tries been scored or not. In saying that I bought a season ticket for the Northern Terrace last week for 40 bucks which included entry to our away game against the Dogs so that's where I'll be sitting on saturday night.

Keep an eye on ticketek online regardless, they could be wrong and you can se where seats are available yourself. You might be able to get 2 tickets in one row and the other 2 directly in front. Something is worth doing if you're organising for a very big group as you can never get 10 seats in a row.. Also once the terraces fill up the club often releases tickets with 'restricted view' which are in the upper grandstand but towards the front, so your view is slightly hampered by the hand rails... but it's something you could enquire about if your kids aren't too small.

Its just the way it is. If you want 4 tickets to the Tigers game you are already looking at being in line with the in-goal areas for terrace seats. The Tigers game will definately be one of those "sold out" games where they scare off the walk ups and we get 1500 empty seats.

That's why they should reinstate the Hills at Parra. Most of the walk ups would know they could still get in, like what happened at Penrith a few weeks back.

I got 6 excellent seats in a row for the Tigers game, Eastern Terrace.
May just go on my own for the Roosters game, lets see if wife permits freedom.
