Looks very promising and could be one of the best in a couple of years. Shirnack, Woods, Dwyer, Fifita, Murdoch-Masilla all in that 20-24 year old age group, make good metres tackle well and have a bit of ball playing ability. Promising signs there

Its long been their achillies heel, it could soon turn into one of their great strengths.
Loads of young talent who are going to be real players

im a huge wrap on Simon Dwyer. Woods and Fafita are gonna be good too.

its ok. dwyer and woods will be good, fifita and murdoch will bust, as will grout

Fifita had an oustanding game today against the benchmark team. Murdoch-Masila is two or three games back from a long lay off through injury. Groat had his debut at 19. All three are hugely talented and to make that statement at this stage is premature at best.

No point speculating on future forward packs cause it's a guarantee that players will change clubs, lose form etc.
Thats why i said it's promising, if they keep that core together they could well have a good pack.

Yeah, 500K for Blair seems ridiculous. They must be losing a few this year (McKinnon and Payten probably).

fair call.. forget speculating on the future and focus on highlights from the past..

like, say, dwyer's tackle on maria hargraves..

I like the looks of Matt Scott, James Tamou, Scott Bolton, Gavin Cooper, Tariq Sims, Chris Grevsmuhl personally...

Yeah, but thats because Matt Scott is a beast, he goes down the rest of the pack would struggle a bit more.

The young Tigers contingent is a very well balanced group of forwards IMO.

For large chunks of this year the Tigers forwards have been missing Gibbs, Galloway, Ellis and Payten. The only elder statesman to play all the games this year has been Heighington. To have only lost one more than we've won with these forwards speaks volumes for them. I'm very happy with our young forwards. Between Schirnack, Dwyer, Fifita, Woods and BMM, correct me if I'm wrong, but I doubt you'd get 100 first grade games between them.

yeah our pack held its own today, it was the dragons class in the backs that got the home.

dwyer - 22
fifita - 21
woods - 20
murdoch-masila - 20
groat - 19

all have huge potential, fifita was very over rated last year imo however has really stepped up this year and cut the crap and laziness out of his game. apparently he was going to be picked for country but hadnt changed over the papers after he played for tonga last year.

hard to believe keith galloway is only 25 aswell!
