lol @ us, Cayless is likely to be a Broncos, Lima is staying at the Storm and well, no idea about Tuquri.

It seems we're going to sign no-one out of the 3 players. Woe is us.

Has been widely reported that Brisbane are interested in Cayles and in all reality would be able to make a pretty good offer,Lima said before grand final that he was staying put and all the hype with WTs has been about Tuquri , so maybe Tuquri is now in control of who what and where.Was really hoping Cayles was in the mix.

That's all old news- so nothing has changed-

Lima's manager also said he is talking to the tigers, the tigers have confirmed they are making an offer- of course Lima is going to say he will stay before the GF. Bellamy himself said they expect to lose a player or two...supposedly we are more of a chance to sign Lima than Cayless

Cayless to brisbane broke several days ago- but still no news....hopefully the fact he is a sydney lad will get us over the line..

Lote is dragging it out way too long...but I think he will sign.....

Yes its all old news, but do you believe we have the resources to be able to sign all 3 add to this Teflon is tied up with the Australian side giving Brisbane in particular more time to act .Tuquri at this time is the closest we have but in my opinion is the least important of the 3 with news of the other 2 going very quiet .

Cayless will be cheap, and yes I think we can afford to get all 3....we let a sh*tload of over paid players go.... cut hanbury aswell if we need to....but in all likelyness we will prob only get two....

Love it or hate it the Tele is almost always spot on in these things.....they say we are very close to getting Lima and will get Lote.......that is a good year of recruitment for WT if true.......

Except when they said we would get Carney ,and when they said Burgess to the Tigers,that is 2 wrong about us this silly season.

They said we were in talks with burgess.... they were the first to break the burgess signing......before UK sites...etc....

thank god they were wrong about Carney.......

That's bollocks. All the poms have been talking for at least 12 months about where Burgess would end up and whether or not it would include transfer fees etc.

The Tele were the first media anywhere to confirm he had signed- when they announced it- I said- we will wait and see as there was no official statement from the club and no other source had it...was confirmed a couple of days later.

There was talk of the Tigers and Manly a couple of months ago, when his name first came up... But it was all about Uncle Rusty for far too long for anyone to have been in any doubt about where Burgess was headed.

Dont think so- any sources to back yourself up...or just pulling things out of thin air? others on this forum have commented how they feel souths cut our grass as he was thought to be ours.....

Haha, you're on a hiding to nothing. Everything from the BT&A to the online national press, even sportal knew what was going on. Even when it got to things like Crowe having meetings.

Try this for a quote the Tele never had; Sheens to Ellis. "Have you had a chat with that young English bloke yet?"

At this time the talk was Tigers, all the while Crowe was wining and dining the lad in England with the full knowledge of the national press. And you reckon the Tele was on the scoop?

Here's their best though; We reported on NRL News that Bird was in France training with Le Catalan. 2 weeks later, the tele had an exclusive with the same thing!

They do have good often info, but they're usually reproducing rumours without details, or pushing what the player agents want them to know, which means most other news sources know at the same time.

tele was the first to go on the record in print to say he had signed-

Anyone can talk , but facts are facts- the TELE confirmed his signing first....unless you can show me otherwise?
