FFS why do we persist with carrying a back on the bench, and Fitzhenry.
Drop Brown or Fitzy and add some size- Shirnack, the other fifita woods anyone .....but in this day and age why carry a winger on the bench......unless he can play 9 and in a pinch 6/7...

Pretty much what we all expected. A shame, really... What would you give for Moltzen and Tuiaki to come out and tell us it was all just a big con to drive up our premiership odds?

Both of them a slap in the face for being such merkins.

I hope WT win- as I said previously we have to win all the next 4 games to remain in the race for the finals or we will be left behind in the also rans.

Having said that- I cannot fathom Teflon's obsession with playing Fitzh on the wing- surely his best and only position is on the interchange and bringing up Brown onto the wing for the rest of the season with Tuiaki out. And then there is Teflon's unique ability to play only 3 interchange players with the 4th having little or no game time. Whats the point?

Are we the only ones wondering what is going on between his ears? How come the WT board are not asking why Teflon has hamstrung the team with such novel tactics when every other NRL team plays their full 17 man squad through every game? Wouldnt mind if it worked but its not. Dont need this extra handicap to add to the players load on top of injuries and the physical demands of first grade NRL.

I just hope Teflon falls on his sword if this season falls apart like all the others after 2005 (remember no excuses now Tim), with no clinging to the contract extension for 2011, and Folkes (or someone with new ideas) comes in for 2011.

Stay on your wing you dumb twat !!

Apart from that...team looks okay to me.

At very least the pressure of competition will be off Lui and we can see if his previous performance (or lack of it) was normal or there is something there on field to add to the 'he is a great trainer....'

The bench, Fitzy, what can I say like a broken record. Nothing will change till the curse of Sheens is lifted. I hear Brown is leaving Huddersfield at the end of the season. Even if it cost us big dollars to flick mr 600 it would be the way to go

Read somewhere Brown is going to Cronulla (I think) as an Asst Coach to get his hat back into Australian coaching mix. Suspect if nothing can be offered Folkes by WT into getting him into the coaching mix in the next month or two, and not just conditioning manager, he will be off to more preferable opportunities elsewhere.

At least it's only one winger on the bench. With any luck, Brown will drop off and we'll have 4 forwards on the bench, two of whom can slot into the backline in a pinch.

That's a bloody good side though for the most part, geez we need the win come Sunday.

For god's sake, please let either Fitzy or Brown drop out of the side!

I am going to freaking lose it if we carry another winger on the bench for 79 minutes!

Galloway out for a month requiring hand surgery

Madunit, you're good with this kind of thing: how much game time has Galloway actually had over the past couple of years?

Seems to me he spends a lot of time injured or on interchange.

On another matter, I just ran into an old mate who knows a physio at WT and he reckons Tuaki is comprehensively stuffed. Short of a miracle there's no way he's back this season and possibly for good.

Get used to Fitzhenry I suppose.

Dammed shame.

I think he missed 8 or so weeks last year from memory and a handful the year before. In his first couple of years with the club he mostly came off the bench and even played a fair bit for BRET.

As for his playing time, it's fairly constant - on for the first 18-20 minutes, rest for 12-15, on for the end of the first half and the first 10-15 of the second, off for another spell and then back in for the last 10 or so.

We talk about a winger on the bench, when you look at the bench we essentualy have 3 backs.. Fulton and Flanno arent really what u would call forwards are they, maybe locks at best. They are utilitys IMO so if we persist with both of them there in NO NEED for a back on the bench Mr Sheens . Wonder why we never have any go forward!
