We talk about a winger on the bench, when you look at the bench we essentualy have 3 backs.. Fulton and Flanno arent really what u would call forwards are they, maybe locks at best. They are utilitys IMO so if we persist with both of them there in NO NEED for a back on the bench Mr Sheens . Wonder why we never have any go forward!

This is so true we persist with this stupid way of thinking, flanno & fulton are utilities and at a pinch shoud be able to fill in certain positions in the backline so why not have the other bench spots filled by forwards.

ps ... this fitzy situation is getting little tooo weird sheens is obsessed

Our starting lock isn't a true lock though. It would be better for us to start Fulton in the 13 and move one of the three backrowers to the bench. But still irt is just a rotation difference in reality.

Yeah...a bit of a dilema....Fulton, Flanno and Heighno are pretty similar type of players. We could probably only do with two of them. Problem is that all of them have playing pretty well. Throw in Dwyer. Matter of time b4 he gets a gig.

Galloway -
2009 - missed 9 games
2008 - missed 6 games
2007 - missed 7 games
2006 - missed 12 games.

The thing thats odd is that he is always ruled out/injured etc, whenever Origin and Test selections are close.

Anyone keen on a conspiracy theory?

How did he get injured ? , the bye must have been a harder game then we anticipated.

Madunit, you're good with this kind of thing: how much game time has Galloway actually had over the past couple of years?

Seems to me he spends a lot of time injured or on interchange.

On another matter, I just ran into an old mate who knows a physio at WT and he reckons Tuaki is comprehensively stuffed. Short of a miracle there's no way he's back this season and possibly for good.

Get used to Fitzhenry I suppose.

Dammed shame.

You and madunit need to get a room...

Was watching Sheens on NRL on Fox last night and he made a fairly ambivalent comment on Tuiaki- basically he may be back this season or not- from his body language I'd suspect NOT. Made no long term comment on Tuiaki's future at the club but jeez, its going to be really questionable whether to take a shot on retaining him when his contract runs out end of this year (particularly for the money he's on).

The Great One's tentacles reach out to all in the media. He coached Daley at the Raiders, so no tough questions from NRL on Fox, wouldn't go near the Footy Show (too low brow for the great one), Brandy on Sports Tonight, etc etc etc

The rugby league journalists are an incestuous lot, so I can't see any of them wanting to be the one to launch into Sheens. It would be the end of their career
