Last week my mate had told me that the Evil scum Manly were after young Tim Smith. Does anyone know when his contarct is up and if Parra are going to keep him or not? On the Manly forum of the Official website they reckon that he is off contract and that he talking to them.

If we lose him then all hope for the future rebuilding is up shit creek.

Dykes hasn't got too many years left in him and will we take up the extra year option on Thorman?

Realistically there is only Witt ahead of him....he needs a little development and by the time he is ready to be a regular first grader, it more than likely Thorman and Dykes may be gone....but I guess its a matter of whether he is willing to give himself the time to develop and whether he gets a big fat cheque dangled infront of him.

I believe he has the best mentor in JT at Parra - JT was one of the best organising and thinking halves of his time - had JT had a body like Johns he would have really dominated games.

Steve Witt was overrated, even I didn't know what all the fuss was about at the time with Witt but this Kid (smith) is the real deal. He has the attributes to go all the way we just need to devlop him correctly.

Clubs like Manly who are scum f**kers will come in and snatch them by offering massive contracts. I just dont want another WILLIE TONGA type fiasco who has have really come back to haunt us. It was said when Tim Smith signed up with us that he had 12 clubs chasing him and he elected come to Parra because he supported Parra. Lets hope that continues. Thormann will be gone at the end of the year and Dykes has one more year on his contract and even then he can move back to 5/8 to accomodate T Smith next year. [-o<
