Hopoate is from Campbelltown originally and I'm pretty sure that King is from the Gold Coast; both are a long way from the Northern beaches.

As for the anti-tampering, clubs are permitted to talk to the player's manager prior to June 30 but no approach to the player or formal offers are allowed to take place. Manly/Cleal has probably just contacted every player manager and asked who is off-contract and are chasing the ones they think thay can get; like every other club including us.

King's from Manly but Watmough, I think, is from Guildford/Auburn way, Harris is a Kiwi, & Dunley is another Campbelltown junior.

No chance we'll let this kid go if he has genuine talent and potential. Not yet anyway. If on the other hand he's another MASSIVELY OVERRATED premier league player like Steve Witt, well he can go with all our blessings.

Sadly, Parramatta have let go plenty of talented players over the years. Can't see why it wouldn't happen again. Hopefully Parra sign him up soon though, it would be a shame to see such a young prospect leave and play for somebody else. Especially Manly.
