He's in the top 8 NRl players for trys directly conceded with team mates Vags and Simmo. He's getting better, but hasn't done enough in attack to get back all the trys he's letting in. I wouldn't be giving him a pass mark for 2004 just yet.

Finally, a voice of sanity.

I used to be a MASSIVE Goldy fan when he played reserve grade a few years back, however, IMO he has not taken the next step or risen to the next level. His defence is atrocious and from seeing him around the club and the shire he acts a little too big for his boots.

I hope I can eat humble pie at about 720pm on Sat night after he has scored a hatrick and made a couple of tackles (this doesn't include a flop).

PROVE ME WRONG MCGOLDRICK !!

Before this comment grows legs, I will categorically say that it is the dumbest thing ever said about a sharks player.
Compared to a certain mug lair who was on the pizz at northies on wednesday night, the rest of the team are all angels & in particular, Goldy.
I see him every second day around the traps, so I know.

Goldys defense is not atrocious, it is very good, he just misses some, but for mine that may because of team defense problem rather than an individual.
All our backs are missing tackles.

It wasnt me - I dont drink during the week outside of holidays

It was Greg Bird living it up with Dallalana and Youngquest at Northies and Fusion

Good to see he's really knuckled down after being eligible to come back from suspension and got on with things

Or maybe he just doesnt care after he's signed his latest contract

Good to see our players take their jobs seriously - it wasnt all that long ago that one of our forwards was drinking it up Wednesday night/early Thursday morning at Goodbar Kings Cross

Wednesday must be a big one for the Sharks eh?

Jarrod will be in wales in about 3 days since daddy has signed there

talking about scared blokes, i remember an anzac day about 4 years ago (yes i was only 17. ssshhhh) when colin best was down at heathcote rsl

he wanted $20 on tails and i wanted $20 on the head so i poked him in the back. he nearly crapped his dacks. he was one of the tallest there but seemed to think everyone was out to get him

he'll fit in well at the dragons - cat!

"Dumbest ever"? I don't know, there's been some reallly dumb things said around here. But it's a contender.

Zeus has been outstanding in the latter half of this year.
He was unfairly singled out for defensive lapses against the Dogs a couple of weeks ago, yet he made something like 27 tackles - and the majority of those on a rampaging Ryan or Mason, and having to come inside to help Kent out.

He may not be the best centre in the NRL, but he's a loooong way from the worst.

If you all think Bird shouldnt be on the piss, why not tell it to his face!!

I couldnt give a rats when he drinks, as long as he is ready for game day.

goldy's come good

started the year like the rest of the team - shite

now consistently putting in the effort and coming up with good games week in, week out. once the team get's it together he'll start going even better

Again McGoldrick had to tackle for Simmons. It is a shame he gets the missed tackles due to him having to run over and tackle for Simmons while he stands there and knocks him over #-o

With the ball again looked good.
