Timmy to the Broncos?

Read in yesterdays paper, that it looks like he will go to the Broncos. I would've thought we would want to keep him? They must be offering decent dollars for him.

We have Tovo and Edwards who will both be better than Timmy in time IMO, not to mention Garbutt and Ailoami - and did I mention that Jarome Wilson (17 year old prop) made Ailoami look like a weak midget in the Arive Alive cup game, and Jake Finn is our best young player.

We probably need another experienced prop, but we have too many young ones.

Yesterday at the ground they said Tim/Luke Doogs will no longer be at our club next year.

It's kind of sad - you have to love how Timmy gives everything on the footy field. If he develops the body to match his heart he will be the new Webke.

Unless Brisbane offered Timmy a ridiculous sum of money I can't believe we didnt match it.

Not sure Tone but his another one that I am puzzled didnt get more of a start.

Tim is one of my favs.

While he has effort and enthusiasm in spades, sadly he is just not quick enough for NRL.

Cross is boarderline in the speed deprtment, but is more consistent in defence and carries and extra 10kg.

Compared, Josh, Edwards, Tovo, Finn and others coming through, he just simply lacks the physical attributes.

I hope he goes on to be a great player, I would never question his training ethic or his commitment, but in this day and age, you have to pick and choose which up and coming props stay on your books.

Timmy would have been a kiwi rep 15 years ago but these days even props need to be athletes. Timmy is a young O'Meley, small and stocky but lacking lateral movement and quickness, O'Meley has now become reserve grade standard due to the pace the game is being played and I think Timmy is abit the same.
At the end of the day I've rather we kept Mitch Garbutt, Mitch has got something Tim will never have, a 6'3 112kg frame

The few times I have seen him in first grade, my view he has struggled with the pace of the game. Had he stayed here Tim would have been only for depth purposes as there are more better prospects at the knights than Tim.

I cannot see him make the Broncos top squad and will languish in one of the Broncos feeder clubs all year.
