You seriously have no idea about how things work in the real world kmav. IF (and it is a very big if) he is worth $230 Million (that is net of debt), then people will still lend to him depending on security and terms. There will always be lenders of last resort who will lend to anybody at the right price.

I don't see how he is worth $230 Million. It would all depend on what he values certain assets at. His assessment would be vastly different to other peoples assessment.

As far as the club is concerned, it is in our best interest that he goes broke, we buy the club back for a dollar and cash in the Bank Guarantee.

his name is mud,,,

no one is going to do business with him.....

reputation in the long term in business is key...

his just a gambler/speculator who does not pay debts...

It's not the done thing to put your own photo in your avatar. That shot of you is particularly unflattering.

Also, you need to start using Google again for words you don't know how to spell. Your concerns over the well documented financial position of Mr Tinkler would make much more sense if in fact other people could read them.

Tinkler is a gambler who thought he could be a businessman.

Like most good gamblers he has an eye for value bets and backs himself. Unfortunately, like most gamblers, he's utterly clueless about risk. He also has NFI about the operational side of business. An apprentice sparky can't run a multimillion dollar company simply because he fell arse-backwards into money.

Anyone acquainted with the guy knew this from the beginning. It was only ever going to take one bet not coming off for the whole house of cards to come tumbling down. And no matter how good a gambler you are, you can't win 100% of the time. Tew and the board saw the writing on the wall, did the obvious and secured the club.

I feel sorry for Alex28 and the other mum and dad investors who were seduced by Tinkler's pretensions as a businessman and have lost money. He's just a cut-price Christopher Skase.

Ha! The only money of mine he's seen is Knights membership fees. One business he has made more viable ironically.
