Geelong were woeful though, particularly in the second quarter.

Well, yes, but you can only play as well as the opposition let you, and the Pies didn't let Geelong play well.

Us 3 not having a good week ay.

You sure? They arnt to blame for your kicking skills, awful. You need to dictate the game not your opposition. Geelong wernt good at all. If the Pies didnt let Geelong play well, whats their secret? i wanna know how to get opposition sides not playing well. So that means from now on every opposition team wont play well Vs Pies? quick put your house on 'em for the flag.

No need to be silly. The Pies are playing well. Their defense in the last three weeks has caused teams to panic and make stupid mistakes under pressure. That's what sides playing well tend to do.

There's no guarantee that will keep going, but at the moment, that's exactly what's happened and why they've made West Coast, Hawthorn and now Geelong look ordinary.

I thought Geelong were disappointing. Still, the Pies showed a lot of improvement and deserved to win well.

poooor old tigers!

Im so dissapointed.. how could we let that game slip! (Great game though.. just needed to get up for the win...then it would've been out best game since 95 Vs Essendon final)

I very, very rarey say this but ...

2nd quarter.

The choke hold on Campbell in the goal square. Campbell's free kick (Against) when Krak had the ball through the goal and then then Bowden's out of bounds on the full, which was a so called advantage when Hilton had a free.

I'm telling you, if umpire #24 had of been brought up into the Army after the game he would have been stomped.

He fixed us up right royally.
-----------------------------

I'm proud of the boys, they let themselves get 5 goals down twice (Not so proud), and still had the poise to fight their way back into the game.

If West Coast are the best there is, then we are certainly a shot at the premiership.

**Made some corrections to the players - You have to forgive me, with my eyesight I have trouble distinguishing the boys now from the outer with the numbers on the sash **

My other thoughts from the round also -

Skunks - Mick has got them playing to their peak. Still don't expect them to play finals football as it cannot last another 11 games. Then again, Buckley will return sooner or later...

Geelong & West Coast - Both have come back to the field now. West Coast will make the GF on the back of two Subiaco finals however I cannot see them winning at the G in the GF.

Melbourne - This team I am now positive can go all the way. The only thing I can see cutting them down is a Subiaco Prelim.

Essendon - Crap, CRAP they are! & what a shame too ...

St Kilda - Biggest underachievers since Essendon in the nineties. They have a noob as coach & sooner or later you would have to think that the nepotism will end, Thomas will be sacked and this immensely talented group will be given a real coach to help them achieve their potential.

Richmond - We are still right in this one. The mid-season break will do us the world of good. Richo especially needs the weeks rest. Go Tigers.

Port Adelaide - Who can bloody tip this mob? They are more inconsistent than even Fremantle.
