Heard someone say Lewis got released by the Titans.

As far as i know, Lewis at this stage has not been offered another contract, and will be released. But that is next year, and i dont think we are in a position to be no selecting players because of what there doing next season.

I dont agree with the policy of clubs to not look at players that have signed or will sign elsewhere, you dont throw out a bottle of milk because its used by date is next week.

Well they've handled games pretty well without Prince before.
They need to deal with this and rise to the occasion.

In saying that though I think they'll scrape the 8 at best.

I see, what exactly happened to him? Had a few games, did ok then disappeared into wilderness.

I bet they'd love Chris Sandow back. A bit to hasty with that decision methinks.

A perfect example of why I'm not the biggest fan of SOO.

Lewis has been playing in the Queensland Cup, and the only game i have seen was 2 weeks ago, and he had a blinder, heard a rumor that he postponed after season surgery for a holiday, and was not ready at start of preseason, this seems to have gotten right up the coaches nose, and he hasnt really been looked at since. In the game i watched he was playing 5/8, with Ian Lacey at Half, and both of them had fantastic games, im not sure on the situation with Lacey, but he also could maybe be another possibility if we need it.

Apparently he was given 58000 chances before being sacked for numerous incidents. So hardly hasty.

I'm disappointed...as a Manly fan, I wanted to face them at home when they were full strength (WITH Prince, Harrison & Bailey).
We need to be tested a lot harder than we have been, so that we harden ourselves up for the finals.
Soft games like that of The Knights at Bluetongue does nothing for us.

People are also forgetting how many we have been missing during the Origin series, not only guys like Lanfrancri, Harrison, Prince, but also our defensive coach Gillmiester, and our fitness coach Billy Johnston, throw in there a few injuries and we have been depleted for the last 7 weeks.

We shall see how we handle things on Friday night, no excuses, we need to stand up.

Thats a shame, i was really looking forward to playing a top full strength team next weekend.

They can't win away from home even with Prince and Bailey, a common trait of all pretender sides. The only reason they are so high up the table is because they have played about 8 home games, they were always going to fall down the table with their run home being predominantly away games.

They can still make the 8 but it will be a struggle...they have good depth and will be around come the finals.

Prince is out for 3 months so unless the titans make it deep into the finals which I doubt, his season is over.
