What experience should he have kept? RCG struggled last year, Lane lost interest, Sivo was to slow, Cartwright quit, Gutho is struggling in attack with his lack of pace. Lussick wasn't playing NRL.

We only have six players left from the 2022 grand final losing squad:

Moses, Paulo, Matterson, Penisini, Russell, Simonssen.

in 2027 Russell will be in Perth, while Matterson, Simonssen and Penisini (it appears, in absence of any official source re his PO) will be off contract.

Surely Paulo gets tapped since he's passed it,and if we don't recruit anyone of note the Moses might get sick of things and seek to go early. And the stench of the lost grand final / premiership window closing will finally be gone, all in Ryles first three years.

The rebuild for the next generation / window can then begin in earnest!

I get the feeling its the similar scoreline to last years Easter game. The defence is still a worry and I expect the Tigers to target Joash with the high ball and kicks in the in goal, and also the big forwards against Pezet and Tuilagi. Unless they really work on their tackling and mark up defence, I expect a 36 32 scoreline

He scored a few tries but that doesn't balance out how poor his positioning has been and he hasn't been that safe under the high ball.
Im looking forward to seeing what Joash can do in his preferred position. I dont think we lose much there.
Doorey has been solid but not irreplaceable.
Im more concerned about Pezet and Kelma parting like the Red Sea.
Walker should be coming off the bench.

I agree. He was quick to gut the place. The flipside is that he only has a few years to deliver improvements and would rather not do it with players he doesn't trust or rate.

I had no problem with him moving on anyone that he did, his biggest problem was having faith in the chuckle heads running the football department that they would be capable of signing anyone to replace them. Our recruitment since the off season of 2021 has been horrendous and inept thats been now with consecutive coaches. We all know the major problem with the club atm but the people running the show seem blind or incapable of making the decisions that need to be made.

I've been saying for 18 months it doesn't matter if Ryles is the next Jack Gibson while ever we have an utter incompetent thickshit's like MON and Jimmy boy running the show he'll be another coach on the meat grinder that is Parramatta.

I'm behind Ryles but not as convincing as before season started.
A lot of his signings have been gash also. But my worry would be ones like Pezet. We did try and get him for 4yrs and failed. I just dont get the Moses/Pezet combo.
Pezet greatest strength is his long kicking game. Take that away from him and he is an average half. Average defence,passing and below average run game.
So anyone else wondered why Ryles thought it would work being that Moses would be the primary kicker?
See to me this is the concern. Is he just throwing a bunch of darts thinking he can make it work? I dont know whats going on behind scenes. But I like many questioned Pezet being a good combination with Moses when weve taken away his greatest strength.
