Agreed.I understand that, but u burn the place to the ground, and replace it with a tin shed isn’t the way to go
I think Ryles has greatly improved our attack, but our defence is very ordinary at the moment.

There’s no excuse. It’s not like they’re being coached from an old school bus after work on a Thursday night.Agreed.

I blamed MON back then too. But if the players don’t want to come to be coached by Ryles the same can also be said that they didn’t want to be coached by BA.Which is concerning. They turned their back on the opportunity to come here and be coached under Ryles. Lomax took a look and didn't like what he saw either.
When BA made dud signings or didn't land a player everyone pointed the blame towards him. When the same thing happens under Ryles its the 'recruitment team'. Lets at least treat things consistently.
I would have kept RCG, Sivo, Gutho and transitioned them out over time once we built up capacity and experience in those spots. I would have also done more to stop Talagi leaving. What experience should he have kept? RCG struggled last year, Lane lost interest, Sivo was to slow, Cartwright quit, Gutho is struggling in attack with his lack of pace. Lussick wasn't playing NRL.
So who wouId you have kept?
Drown is the only genuine loss, I reckon.
Yep. That's fair.I blamed MON back then too. But if the players don’t want to come to be coached by Ryles the same can also be said that they didn’t want to be coached by BA.
I have a feeling that Ryles has possibly told Paulo that we are not extending him which is why he has started eating burgers and chips again.I would have kept RCG, Sivo, Gutho and transitioned them out over time once we built up capacity and experience in those spots. I would have also done more to stop Talagi leaving.
Don't know what happened with Cartwright but he quit when he knew he was no chance of playing first grade. At his best, he is an asset to any team.
Moses vs Doueihi.
NSW Origin winning halfback hero and Kangaroo superstar now in the peak years of halfback chicanery up against a 190cm lumbering crock who almost got cut from the squad.
Breakout Scum junior star astutely purchased by NRL owned Broncos with an eye to filling in Reynold's boots, early in his career with so much promise up against a guy whose name is not even hyperlinked on the NRL website. 33 first grade games over 6 years as backup at 3 clubs at age 26 he's ready for super league.
The gulf is vast...on paper.
Of course just like every year in state of origin paper records versus turning up for that one marquee game of your life are two different things, at times the difference is vast.
As long as we won, that scoreline would be a f**king ripper.I get the feeling its the similar scoreline to last years Easter game. The defence is still a worry and I expect the Tigers to target Joash with the high ball and kicks in the in goal, and also the big forwards against Pezet and Tuilagi. Unless they really work on their tackling and mark up defence, I expect a 36 32 scoreline
Nobody's up every week, especially early in the season. No way we score 32, I don't think.
Tigers have improved drastically.

Ionghi so far has been okay, definitely no superstar as yet, I think Joash will do the same job, and he’s nothing to write home about in my opinion, Parra fans are so desperate for a superstar we will anoint anyone who may be above averageGetting rid of Gutho was the best thing we did.
he was never going to keep up to the speed at 1. Dragons fans absolutely hate him. He was a loyal BA and would have slowed down the transition.
we also would not have Iongi if he stayed
Or the Jekyll and Hyde tuggersNever rule out the Jekyll and Hyde Eels.
He scored a few tries but that doesn't balance out how poor his positioning has been and he hasn't been that safe under the high ball.Ionghi so far has been okay, definitely no superstar as yet, I think Joash will do the same job, and he’s nothing to write home about in my opinion, Parra fans are so desperate for a superstar we will anoint anyone who may be above average
I had no problem with him moving on anyone that he did, his biggest problem was having faith in the chuckle heads running the football department that they would be capable of signing anyone to replace them. Our recruitment since the off season of 2021 has been horrendous and inept thats been now with consecutive coaches. We all know the major problem with the club atm but the people running the show seem blind or incapable of making the decisions that need to be made.I agree. He was quick to gut the place. The flipside is that he only has a few years to deliver improvements and would rather not do it with players he doesn't trust or rate.
Think it will be moreTigers by 20+
