Can’t help but wonder if old Dylbags has been up to no good. I’m not buying this trying stuff out for next year. We are fighting to not get the spoon, throwing a rookie in at 6 against Penrith etc. Leaving him out at this point seems very odd.

I reckon the last straw for Ryles was when Dylan was dancing before the kick off during the dragons game.....showed that he doesn't give a f**k. I know I was fuming....let alone the coach.

Ridiculous. In 6 games he has broken more tackles then Russel in his 16 games.
He also is average 60mtrs a game more.
160+ a game.

I suspect that the defensive combo between Simonsson and Lomax, where they seem to not be talking to each other and separately rushing in/staying back might have something to do with the decision?

Still, it's only team list day - and all sorts of changes are still possible as we trim to 19 on Thursday night, and then on game day.

Don't mind the bench

Da Silva, Moretti, Tuivati & Doorey is playing okay as well.

Hawkins/Moses combo will be interesting how it goes.

What it will do is take pressure of Mitch's kicking game having a legitimate long kicker in Hawkins playing alongside him. Drown's kicking game was overrated for mine.

And i haven't seen enough of Joash's kicking game to give me confidence.

Mitch should have more freedom to take the line on and challenge the defence more at the backend of sets knowing that Hawkins is out there to take some load off the kicking if Moses is caught on the last.

If Hawkins/Moses combo gets us 2 or 3 wins in the next 5 or so weeks.

Would you even bother going back to Joash when Iongi comes back.

Yeh im pretty surprised Russell was picked over Bailey. I guess Russell might have the slightest edge in terms of defence? Bailey is defs the better player despite the improvemrnt of Russell over the current season
