Its an annual game now Souths play Parra in Indigenous round

They didn't dig deep in 2023 when we flogged them at this Venue.

In fact Souths still haven't recovered were coming 1st and premiership favourites then went on a slide and missed the 8. Demetriou was sacked less then a year later

I hope De Silva gets dropped for a week, to practice his dummy half delivery with big minutes in Cup to bring it up to a reliable first grade standard.

Take the emotion out of Sunday i think he stays in and probably should.

He will learn heaps from the game and i think it becomes more of a distraction if he gets dropped then if he isn't right at this minute.

End of the day he couldn't play any worse surely but if he produces another shocker i don't think we won't see him again until 2026.

I think he should get special training with Mitch and the coaches and Riley too so they are all on the same page.

Basically, where in the field he can use his craft and play eyes up, if Mitch or someone else calls for it (in heirarchy) e.g. the 6, Iongi, Middle half, etc. (no particular order)

That's who gets it.

Now if he becomes stupid again, then drop him.

Do you think he will learn much in one week? I don't.Hes probably been playing league for 10yrs. 1 game in NSW CUP will do f**k all. Either stays playing 20mins in NRL and practises during off season or he gets 80 mins in cup each week for rest of season.

Yeah, they said the home team wears the indigineous jersey and if the away team's jersey doesnt clash, then they can wear it too. Apparently, the Cowpat's one clashes with ours.

The following week, the home team gets to wear their indigineous jersey

He has basic fundamental floors to his game that need adressing. It just depends if Ryles thinks it is going to benefit him more with 80mins in cup or 15mins in NRL.
No reason if games are on different days he cant play both with perhaps 55mims in cup

Not at that standard at this level. If he goes back to Cup and plays a lot of 60+min games, De Silva will get it right to be an option for next season. But he won't through just 20min cameos in NRL costing us games.

His passing seems all over the place don't you think?
Behind a good pack his run game will be destructive but.

Agree his service is not Great and seems to always want to take time with the ball before passing … he will need to sort that out and insure of coaching staff are all over it
