I reckon since it’s early rounds they won’t just play for the sake of playing.
The jets squad is fit, nrl is fit. Any tiny niggle won’t be forced to play at this point in time like previous years

Watched the Melbourne game this morning, the one towards the end of last season with Nico out, we flogged em and Trindall had a great game. New season and all but we just look fitter and more capable in the trial games than at any point last year including the Manly flogging. I say we are going to be one of the teams to beat this year if we show our worth without the likes of Nicho and such. My only worry is in the prop forward section. I think we are a bit light on in that area.

Coolum I totally agree about the prop situation. But as long as we can keep Finucane healthy for me that’s the key to the season with our forwards.

Uele and Toby can be a bit loose at times and they have to get more consistently in their game.

Hazelton and Colquhoun are ok to be Benchies at this stage of their careers but if they are spending a lot of time in the starting 13 we are going to struggle a bit.
