Frustrating how 3 minutes of momentum can turn a game on its head.
Australia really didn't deserve to win that one, given how clueless they looked for much of the match. Fair enough, they ground out a victory, and had a few tries disallowed, but if you're going to grind out a victory I'd prefer to do it when the opposition has a chance to handle the ball at least once during a time when you score 12 unanswered points.
At least this one doesn't come down to the video ref. I had a feeling that straight away, when Hunt's try was disallowed towards the end of the match, all the comments on here would have been about the Kangaroos being robbed, and it would have ruined what was up til then a reasonably fair and impressive match. As is stands, this is probably a rather hollow victory. Happy we won, but I think the Kiwis deserve a bit more credit than the headlines tomorrow screaming about Inglis or Gasnier.
