Watched a couple of tna shows recently and i have to say I've been really impressed. Innovative wrestlers, shock spots you won't see in wwe ever again (monsters ball between abyss and bram on a regular show with tacs and barb wire tables and nails on a stick - Janice -WTF), X-Division and so much mor crowd energy due to the smaller arena, factions people actually believe in..WWE has been doing a shit job of late of putting together believeable factions that people care about. I think the Shield break up in particular has been done terriblely with no comradery at all shown between Reigns and Ambrose which was probably the last believeable they' never turn on each other brotherhood in WWE. I think i might be a TNA convert!

I happened upon TNA last night and had fun watching the monsters ball. The crowd was going nuts for AL Snow as well was good for a laugh.

WWE needs some more hardcore matches on RAW to give it some more edge.

Love seeing a wrestler covered in thumb tacks!

Well, Bubba Ray broke the table with his arse rather than her, so basically she copped a full sit-out powerbomb into the ring off of the top turnbuckle. She sold it well though.

Another decent, if not better impact. Looks like Abyss and Bram are going to go one step further with 'ladder to Janice' next week. I think i heard glass among other promised weapons

A bad few days for TNA storylines. First Davey Richards breaks his leg (albeit a "good break", only expected out for 2 months), and today Bubba Ray says he is finishing up. That has just slammed the breaks on the entire Tag Team division storylines.

Watching Impact. The match between Gunner and Mr. Anderson.

The crowd is chanting Adam Rose's theme! I love it!

Bubba ray retiring? or just leaving TNA?

We've heard from multiple TNA talents that Bully Ray held a meeting with the roster working tonight's live event in Hagerstown, MD and informed them he wanted to personally tell them goodbye as he didn't expect to be back for the company.

In asking around, Ray's contract is expiring and tonight's live event is the last show he is contracted to appear on. Based on what Ray told the locker room, obviously the two sides have not come to terms on a new deal.

What is amazing about this is that Ray (along with his partner Devon) is scheduled to be inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame at Bound for Glory this October. TNA also has one match left in a series of bouts Ray was heavily involved in at the last set of Impact Wrestling tapings, which means that if he departs, they will be left scrambling to end that series without him.

Ray had been the central point of the company over the last several years, first with a heel run as the central figure behind Aces & Eights, which brought him his first TNA championship. After losing the title, Ray was transformed into a babyface pursuing Dixie Carter in order to put her through a table, which became the biggest moment of TNA's entire summer. That angle was something that Ray brought to and pitched to TNA management.

Ray has been with TNA since 2005 following runs in the original ECW and WWE. During the TNA run he morphed from one half of Team 3D to a legitimate top singles star. Beyond wrestling, he was also working as an agent backstage.

Interesting. He probably didnt get the pay bump/dates willing to work deal he wanted, or he's seen writing on the wall.

Anyways, I watched Destination X the other day and...I might be alone in this...but I was fairly underwhelmed by the whole thing. Its great to see Low Ki, Joe, Homicide etc...but they are shadows of their formerselves and the matches they worked werent what they used to be. It's kinda sad. Hardyz were out of place with the Wolves. I liked Ethan Carter, he's decent man...but the whole company is a bit of meh to me. First TNA stuff iv watched for a very long time...and i probably wont watch anymore to be fair. It aint what it used to be and never will be. Whether or notthe company's done, im not sure, but it looks like it might be.

Lashley is bloody rough. Miss the monday night wars when you never knew who was gonna show up. Lashley V Lesnar wold be epic. Would love to see Austin Aries - Rollins too if only WWE would let Rollins use his aeriel arsenal. Wasn't it Vince who said hes not interested in tna talent now they have NXT? How could they not be keen on AJ Styles??
