me...
I found out about an hour ago through my cousin whose a Manly fan..
he's over the moon
I am frustrated
"there's no emoticon for what I'm feeling"
If anyone of note reads this then please tell me why our club is going backwards at such a great rate? I can not see any progress in our great club, I want to understand why?
add me to the list, the administration of this club is a disgrace. The lame excuses trotted out by Fitzgerald are a slap in the face to every eels supporter and any player to pull on the Blue and Gold. If we only offered 75K to one of the most exciting talents to come through our club then we are f*cked. Maybe if he got a taste of first grade this year he might have stuck around. Instead he has to sit around behind the likes of Grothe and Reddy who have been going like busted arses. Even an untried Ben Smith got rushed in ahead of him. Dickheads!
If this is how it is going to be, stuff the juniors sell them all, spend the money on established first graders, overload ourselves with them and poach juniors as we need them, stuff the investment where has it got us.....nowhere. We created a breed of winners in PL back to back titles, whats the point if they cant oust the losers in first grade!
Apparently Todd Lowrie, Brett Finch and Joe Gulavao refused to sign. They think our retention is heading in the right direction.
For all those who bagged BS for not giving Mateo / Hayne / Inu a chance. What he nevevr did was let them go. And at the same time managed to bring established names into the club.
But the main thing is our CEO has got is head on TV and the papers this week.
Starngeky enough Mateo was headed to Manly when BS was at our club, Hagan made the call from Newie to keep him at all costs and spoke to Feleti and let him know he would be given a big show fot first grade.
Not too dissimilar for the oher 2, sorry to disappoint you but BS hasd nothing to do with them staying. In his defence it was Hagan , still not happy with his work on retention and the salary cap.
Me....but as Nikki says, as if the club give a f**k about what we say anyway. They haven't given any indication that they even recognise their fans thus far, I can't see them doing so now
Firstly, run down the team, i.e. create a useless playing roster, thus making sure of woful performances on the field. Which will impact on the crowds to our home games. That will bring a spotlight on the club and its stand alone ability. Which will impact sponsors, and other revenue streams to compound our leagues club problems. Thus spiraling us into a dour and inevitable position of merger being our only option for survival. There is nothing like continual bad performances e.g. South Sydney to hasten our demise, which will also see us as the weaker partner of course, with who ever wants to fuc*k us up the ar*s and reap all the benefits of our local juniors.
This way Big Fu*k Head DF can be seen as doing the only thing humanly possible to SAVE us from total extinction. Oh what a guy, what a legend, and very little protest, because by that time very few will care. ;-)
I would like to know which direction we are heading, someone to take charge and steer rather than come up with the same old crappy cliches...Someone who can bite the bullet and make some hard decisions.
