first of all, Kornny is right, DA makes the decisions on player retentions not Ossie..

secondly, since the apparent statement made by Ossie which was completely out of context, Fuifui was signed, KK is apparently close to signing and offer was made to Mateo and INU has been on the outer since late last year and DA decided not to offer him a contract.

the fact remains we couldn't sign them because we couldn't match the offer by the Warriors because WE!! have a sallary cap to abide and WE!! play by the rules set out by the NRL..as a supporter of a club who fought hard to the end on gf day I take offense to the half witted supporters wearing those ridiculous shirts giving it to Gallop.

your club has performed the greatest merkin act in the history of the game and I'd be happy to remind you of that till the day they bury me 6 foot under..your club are a bunch of cheating merkins and your still playing your 5 million + squad against teams who are playing by the rules, so you my friend can f**k right off because you won't be keeping this black duck quiet...;-)

Garbage, weren't in good enough form and the parramatta club realised they needed to be let go to remain under the salary cap, a concept your team never grasped. :sarcasm:

doesn't matter which way around it goes it still reads the coach & CEO have different roles & the coach just coaches & the CEO takes care of business...you think that might be the case in other clubs too?

in most if not all cases the coach has full autonimy in who they have in their squad they have the first and last say in the retention of players and will work with the CEO or football manager to fill the squad within the guidelines of the cap.

well the point is, it's been happening to us for a number of years and we've copped it sweet, it's now become an issue on the back of those cheating merkins getting caught with their hand in the jar..

we've lived with losing players and continue to do so it's now time for the storm to do te same to a larger extent to make up for the crap they put the game through.
