or the supporters who yelled out during the minute silence, hang your heads in shame. You have no respect at all, its a minute silence for one of the founders of the club, in fact THE FOUNDER. Just the like the ground announcer said "built the club with his own hands" Jack Agent. I have not time for people like that. DISRESPECTFUL.

I missed the game but that is a low act. I've always found Warriors supporters to be the best supporters in the game so it's a shame there are some out there with total disrespect. Totally uncalled for.

From the Warriors, sorry to hear that. I usually find our supporters to be pretty genuine, I guess there's always 1/2 clowns amongst every lot.

And thats all it takes. It doesn't have to be all the Warriors fans, it only takes a few to ruin it. But as someone said it wasn't just Warriors fans.

During the Parramatta District Junior League Finals at all grounds in the Parramatta District they also held a minutes silence in memory of the Colonel.

I was ground manager at Guildford and was forced to gesture to 3 men to shut up as they were talking rather loudly during the silence.

Our society has developed such a small atention span these days, getting a full minutes silence is near impossible. That's not meant to be an excuse though....

I wasn't there, but perhaps a way for future scenarios would be to put together some footage for people to watch and hear on the video screen, would be followed by applause, and then the call for a minutes silence? Might be more successful that way.
