I'll put my hand up and admit I was one of many who were very wrong. At one point this year it looked like the Knights would miss the finals two years in a row after making it the year before he got there. I wrote them off. I wrote him off.

Happy to be proven wrong as I'd rather they go deep in the finals than a number of other teams (starting with the team they beat tonight).

Newcastle only beat the Dogs because the Dogs played wealy bad though. Just like their other wins this season. Mlb were off tonight as well.

As I said in the OP, every time Bennett's team hits a low they come out in force. I actually think they are hoping it's true. They breath a sigh of relief, "I told you he's not that good."

The Knights have been underestimated all year, by most including myself.
Its their defensive technique that has worked against many a team, even those that beat them left very sore and sorry.

Combine that with ticker and whatever it is that Bennett has on the NRL and media and they are in with a chance

Weren't the Knights premiership favourites in Bennett's first season at the club.

He recruited the players he wanted which included Snowden even though it broke his rule on overpaying for props.


His tenure so far has been a flop unless they happen to win this week.
