Former Canberra Raiders halfback Todd Carney has been arrested for causing malicious damage.
It's reported the 22-year-old jumped on a car in Goulburn.
Last year Carney was sacked by the Raiders following a number of off-field alcohol-related incidents.
The arrest comes as NRL battles the controversy over Manly star Brett Stewart being arrested over sexual assault allegations.

Troubled Carney in hot water again

Police have charged the former Canberra Raiders start Todd Carney with malicious damage after he was allegedly captured on CCTV cameras jumping on several cars.

Carney and another man have been arrested and charged and will appear in court next month.

The alleged incident happened last weekend in Goulburn, south of Sydney.
Police viewed the security footage before making the arrests.
