I wonder who the arbiter of what type of image or post is a sackable offence?

Is a picture of someone wearing a T-shirt that said "f**k Mugabe" OK but if your c**k was out your instantly fired?

For the record Carney is a dickhead, and having him out of the game is a bonus. Fergo will be right behind him also.

Zero chance the NRL will register a contract for him to play with another club this year and unlikely in the future as well.

not at all. There have been players sacked for repeatedly missing training etc that are not de-registered with the NRL.

But in this case I think he will be and fair enough.
If Cronulla start doing a little better you mind find out that his antics on the grog may have been affecting the team as well

Hopefully the NRL steps in and bans him for life. He's had enough chances it's time to set an example. If you keep acting like a disgrace for almost 10 years you won't play in the NRL.

As an outsider and a supporter of this great game since the mid 70's can a club go any lower than the Sharks ? I know that Norths are no longer with us and others have also fallen but morally could this be the end with ASADA yet to come?

I'd hate to be a Sharks supporter.

As soon as you lose your contract you are de-registered. It will be up to the NRL to decide to register any new contract if one is lodged with them
